Hey Peeps!
Hope all of you are having a great Monday:)
Remember to post comments and questions below that Trevor and I can respond to. Also, leave prayer requests! This weeks post is going to target a topic that a ton of students deal with today--missing Jesus in a crazy busy world.
Many of you reading this have already gone to school, done your homework (maybe), had some sort of extracurricular activity practice and cruised Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or Pinterest. You guys are very busy, hurrying from one thing to the next and filling any empty time in between with another THING. It's exhausting! That's our culture today though; if you aren't doing something all time, then you aren't doing anything at all.
Please take a few minutes to yourselves and write down any thoughts or prayers. Prepare your heart and mind for time with the Lord. Feed your soul with the encouraging things that His Word has to say, and put your phone down before you double tap another picture on Insta. You WILL survive, I promise:)
"Be still, and know that I am God" the Psalmist writes in Chapter 46 v. 10. How can we be still in the craziness?
John Ortberg writes, "Hurry is the great enemy of spiritual life in our day. You must ruthlessly eliminate hurry from your life." Is being crazy busy and hurrying through your day making you miss Jesus?
