Hey Garage Peeps!
This is Alex Thulemeyer, the Youth Ministry Apprentice for St. John's Lutheran Church. Vicar Trevor and I have put our minds together and we felt that, as a Youth department, it is important to have a Community blog for all of SJ Garage Youth. Yes, we do have an Instagram (@sjgarageyouth), but we are only limited to pictures and the thoughts we have in our head--leaving out a way to express those thoughts and missing an opportunity to SHARE with the SJ community.
We want to reach out to you guys and teach you about the GOOD NEWS--that Jesus Christ is Lord, and our Savior. We also want to have fun. There will be Video Podcast lessons (Trevor and I will be creating these ourselves!), weekly devotions, a prayer link, and much more! If you have any videos, devotions, or would like to write a blog entry sharing a cool testimony please contact us at (youthministry@stjohnsorange.org). This Blog is also a good place to find any information for events, bible studies, etc that will be happening within the Youth Ministry.
I'm encouraged by the direction the Lord has taken this Ministry, and I hope and pray that we continue to GROW as followers of Christ!
